New Pens Arriving Soon
Our first shipment of the new 1911 Large Pens with 14k Nibs in four different colors is expected to arrive as soon as next week.
This is the first time in decades that Sailor’s 14k nibs will be available in the 1911 Large/Pro Gear size. It will also be a real boon to customers wanting our noted Flex customizations on these 1911 Large pens.
Price Rises and Discontinued Models
While details and timing remain uncertain, it seems highly likely that a significant price rise on most other Sailor models is on the way soon. It also seems likely that many or most of Sailor’s current models are being discontinued, or will only be available at a much higher price.
The demand for remaining stock has been very high, and most Sailor pens and nibs are not currently available for reorder. As a result, we’ve had to take the unusual step (for us, at least) of not allowing customers to place back orders for Sailor nibs not currently in stock.
Order In Stock Pens and Nibs
For the time being, when ordering most Sailor pens from us, you will only be able to choose from among nibs currently in stock and available for immediate shipment on your pen. The drop-down menu on our product pages will let you know which nibs are still in stock, and which are not.
