Crafted with a high-quality, self-polishing resin, the cap, front section, and piston knob reflect both durability and sophistication. The pen is also adorned with signature gold-plated details—including the classic double rings and the renowned Pelikan beak-shaped clip—finished in 24-karat gold.

The special “Aurora” engraving technique applies a guilloché surface to the barrel for a colorful, light-bending holographic-like effect. Ten layers of polished lacquer then provide for a smooth, even surface and bring the colors to a high sheen.

As a 14k nib, the M600 is also a good choice for our Flex modification, though as a smooth-writing rigid nib it is not as inherently well-suited for Flex as are soft and semi-soft nibs from manufacturers such as Pilot and Platinum. Choose the Extra Fine or Fine nib if you’re looking for the most possible line-width variation from this Flex customization.
