Vintage nibs are cleaned and inspected prior to sale, but as loose nibs cannot be given our usual complimentary nib tuning services.

If you would like for our nib specialists to set and tune this nib in your compatible vintage pen, complete your purchase here and then fill out our Service Request Form. Total charges will usually be $80 plus the cost of return shipping.

Please note that while we attempt to make the condition status as accurate as possible, each vintage nib is unique, and many may have small marks, pocks, and scratches consistent with their use and reuse over the decades since their initial production.

Please note as well that prior to the 1950’s, many solid gold nibs were not given visible karat markings. Most solid gold nibs from this period are assumed to be in the 10k to 14k range, but higher karat counts are possible as well.
