The Visconti Medici Palazzo Briarwood Yellow Gold is provided with your choice of 14k solid gold nib, produced in-house at the Visconti workshop in Florence. Our free nib tuning services bring out the best in these handcrafted nibs and feeds.
The Extra Fine and Fine nibs are highly suitable for everyday writing and note-taking. The Medium nib offers an even smoother writing experience and can also serve as the basis for some of our nib customizations.
For our nib customizations, however, it is really the Broad and stock Stub nibs that provide the best starting points for our nib specialists. The Broad nib is an excellent choice for regrind customizations such as Cursive Italic and Left Oblique, and also provides the best starting point for our noted Architects Point customization.
Visconti 14k nibs can also be provided with our modifications for added Flex, but as these are smooth-writing rigid nibs, they are not as inherently well-suited for this customization as are soft and semi-soft nibs from manufacturers such as Pilot and Platinum.

An innovative hook-latch system secures the cap to the barrel, while the power filler system provides for an ample capacity using the bottled fountain pen ink of your choice.
