Visconti 18k Rose Gold Nib Units are made available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, and a stock Stub. The broader nib sizes provide a terrific basis for our regrind customizations such as Stub, Cursive Italic, and Left Oblique.
These Visconti nibs are provided as a complete nib unit, and are designed to be easily installable at home. However, Visconti has changed many aspects of its nib production at differing times, and not all pens will allow easy swapping of nib units.
If the nib unit in your current Visconti fountain pen easily screws out of the pen barrel, then these replacement nib units should easily screw in as well. But if your current nib unit does not easily unscrew, or if your replacement nib unit does not easily screw in, do not try to force the nib unit – significant damage to your pen and/or nib unit can result.
In these cases, and with your purchase of a Visconti nib unit from us, we can install the nib unit in your pen for you – a small processing fee and the cost of return postage will be the only additional charge.
