Description
This Tibaldi Transparente Celluloid Limited Edition is a full length pen, 5 9/16” long, and shows remarkable iridescence when rotated in the fingers. The piston filler holds a large quantity of ink visible through the transparent barrel letting you know when it is time to fill up again. Minor brassing on the pocket clip is the only thing that prevents us from calling this pen near mint.
The Tibaldi Pen Company began life in Florence, Italy in 1916 and produced eyedropper pens in hard rubber in the early days then shifted to celluloid stock purchased from Germany beginning in the late 1920’s. This pen is from the Mottishaw collection.
