Description
Two things about this pen separate it from most vintage Sheaffer’s pens one can find today. The cap and barrel color is close to the original, not darkened by time and exposure to rubber bladders. The nib is beautifully made, with a gold thickness two or three times that of others and the iridium tip is crafted to a precise fine hand cut point.
The barrel is deeply imprinted with the Sheaffer’s branding, identifying the factory in Fort Madison, Iowa, USA. And the original owner had their name, J. B. ST. CLAIR factory engraved on their barrel.
This 1930’s Full-Size Sheaffer’s Lifetime Black and Pearl pen is a collectible pen in collectible condition and is from the personal collection of PacificPenWorks nib specialist John Mottishaw.
