This 1930’s Sheaffer’s Full-Size Black and Pearl Mechanical Pencil is fully functional and takes fine leads with extras provided inside. The remarkable celluloid color is much like the day it was made.

The “humped” pocket clip puts the date of this Sheaffer’s pencil in the early 1930’s. We list this pencil as only Fair condition because of the crazing seen in the celluloid and the brassing of the gold trim, both typical of pencils approaching 100 years old. The imprint above the gold band is clearer in person than in the photograph. This is a beautiful pencil with lovely pearlescent colors.
