The Sailor Pro Gear Slim Manyo #3 Azuki Red Bean Special Edition comes specially packaged with a bottle of Sailor Manyo Azuki ink. This is a beautiful and highly versatile fountain pen that can also be an excellent choice as a very special gift item.
Sailor is renowned for the high quality of their nibs and the variety of tipping sizes available. Finer nibs from Extra Fine through Medium are highly suitable for everyday note-taking.
Broader nibs, on the other hand, make excellent starting points for customizations such as Stub or Cursive Italic. Choose the unique Zoom nib for best results with our Architects Point customization.
The Pro Gear Slim model has a slightly smaller width and length than the larger Pro Gear Standard model. With its 14k nib, this pen can be given our customization for added Flex, though as these are smooth-writing rigid nibs, they are not as inherently well-suited for this customization as are soft and semi-soft nibs from manufactures such as Pilot and Platinum.
Our complimentary nib tuning tests each pen and adjusts the ink flow and optimum pressure to your own personal specifications. We are an authorized Sailor retailer.
The Sailor Pro Gear Slim Manyo #3 Azuki Red Bean Special Edition is a cartridge-converter pen. It is supplied with a reusable ink converter that allows it to fill utilizing bottled fountain pen ink.
It can also use handy Sailor ink cartridges, now available in a wide array of different colors. A starter pack of two cartridges is provided with the pen.
