The 21k solid gold nib in Medium or Broad is highly suitable for many of our nib customizations, and regrinds to finer tipping sizes are also available when ordering through us.
Description
The swirling stripes of the Sailor King of Pen Tenacious Tabby fountain pen make this a striking and beautiful writing instrument whether or not you associate the undulating patterns with the coat of a particular cat breed. Ebonite is one of the classic materials for high quality fountain pens, and few companies match Sailor in the taste and refinement with which they craft this very special material.
Sailor’s renowned 21k King of Pen nibs are made available in Medium and Broad and provide an excellent starting point for customizations such as Architects Point, Cursive Italic, and Stub. If the Sailor Medium is still too broad a nib for you, we can also offer optional regrinds to Fine, Extra Fine, and even Needlepoint.
Whether or not you choose to add a nib customization, you can still benefit from our free nib tuning. Each pen is tested for proper performance and adjusted to your own personal writing characteristics as specified during the ordering process.
The Sailor King of Pen Ebonite Tenacious Tabby is a cartridge-converter pen. It is supplied with a reusable ink converter that allows it to fill utilizing any bottled fountain pen ink. It can also use handy Sailor ink cartridges, now available in a wide array of different colors.
