S.T. Dupont is well known for the precise and remarkable metal and lacquer work employed to make the shimmering effect on the cap and barrel of this S.T. Dupont Montparnasse Amber Lacquer fountain pen. This pen takes an easy to find Parker style cartridge and comes with the original S.T. Dupont converter.
Also known as the Montparnasse Chairman, this was the flagship pen of the company through the 1990’s. The barrel unscrews for filling using the tucked in “D” ring on the end of the barrel and in keeping with the elegant simplicity of this pen, the letter M, designating the tip size, is located on the inside when the barrel is unscrewed.
