Description
The Platinum 3776 Century Chartres Blue Gold Music Pen is equipped with a true triple-tined double-slit Music nib. Producing broad lines and abundant line-width variation, this is an exceptional writing instrument. The semi-translucent blue color of this pen is inspired by the stained glass windows of the Chartres Cathedral in France.
Music nibs were in fact originally devised to aid in the writing music scores. In time, however, a variety of users have found a multitude of uses for these nibs, including for calligraphy, sketching, and journaling.
The Chartres Blue Gold Music Pen employs an easy to use cartridge-converter filling system – the pen can use convenient disposable Platinum brand ink cartridges, and can also be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink by using the provided reusable converter.
We offer our usual complimentary testing and nib tuning on this pen. Be aware, however, that any true Music nib requires a generous ink flow – you should expect to receive a pen that has at the least a Medium ink flow.
Each pen ships in a special presentation box which includes instructions, the converter, and a starter ink cartridge. PacificPenWorks is an authorized retailer of Platinum products, and all new pens are acquired directly from the distributor.
