With every purchase, we provide complimentary nib tuning to ensure your pen writes to your specifications. For those looking to personalize their writing experience further, we also offer a selection of optional nib modifications that enhance character and line variation.
Our Flex modification can provide additional line-width variation beyond that achieved by this pen’s nib in the unmodified semi-soft setting. And while the Pilot Medium is normally finer than we would recommend as the starting point for regrind customizations, it can still be reground to Stub, Left Oblique, or Cursive Italic with subtle but noticeable results.
