The Pilot Custom 823 Smoke is a beautiful and uniquely versatile fountain pen. Among the 14k nibs available, Pilot’s Signature nib has the characteristics of a gently rounded Stub and makes an excellent starting point for many of our own exclusive nib customizations.
Description
The Pilot Custom 823 Smoke is a sleekly-styled vacuum system piston-fill fountain pen made available with a wide variety of 14k solid gold nibs.
Slightly bigger than the popular Custom Heritage 912 and in gold rather than rhodium trim, it is a perfect fit for users who prefer its vacuum piston-fill system to the cartridge-converter system utilized by the similarly-sized Custom 743 series.
Complimentary nib tuning with your purchase from us optimizes your Custom 823 to the specifications you provide. Our optional nib customizations can add uniqueness and calligraphic styling to the writing you produce on the page.
Choose broader nibs such as the Broad or Signature for regrind customizations such as Architects Point, Cursive Italic, and Stub. Finer nibs, on the other hand, are most suitable for added Flex.
Each pen ships in a special presentation box which includes instructions and a starter bottle of ink. PacificPenWorks is an authorized retailer of all Pilot products, and all new pens are acquired directly from the manufacturer.
