Made available only through North American retailers, the Pilot Custom 743 Verdigris is a cartridge-converter fountain pen that can be equipped with a wide variety of 14k solid gold nibs.

Slightly bigger than the popular Custom Heritage 912, and in gold rather than rhodium trim, it is a perfect fit for users who prefer its cartridge-converter filling system to the piston-fill system utilized by the similarly-sized Custom 823 series.

The notched Falcon or FA nib makes this pen, along with the 823 and 912, one of the best choices for our famous Super-Fine Super-Flex customization. The cartridge-converter filling system allows for the pen to use either bottled fountain pen inks or convenient Pilot brand ink cartridges, available in over twenty different vibrant colors.

Free nib tuning with your purchase ensures that your Pilot Custom 743 is optimized to the specifications you provide. Our optional nib customizations can add uniqueness and calligraphic styling to the writing you produce on the page.

Choose broader nibs for regrind customizations such as Architects Point, Cursive Italic,  and Stub. Finer nibs, on the other hand, are most suitable for added Flex.
