Description
No effort was spared in the production and presentation of this Parker Duofold Norman Rockwell Limited Edition 1996 Fountain Pen and Norman Rockwell folio. The four beautifully reproduced and numbered prints of paintings were taken from the official Norman Rockwell archives and celebrate an innocent and simple time in America.
Rockwell was a prolific painter of common themes and has gained in reputation as the years go by. At the time some of these paintings were printed in the best large format magazines and were used to sell Parker pens in the 1960’s.
The fiddlehead maple wood box in the center of the pen case mimics the paint brush holder and the large embossed leather case holds the prints, the certificate of authenticity, and the booklet explaining the significance of this production.
This entire pen and folio is numbered with the same matching number 1119/3500. All of this is enclosed in a monogramed cloth outer bag which protects the leather case. This mint condition pen and folio are from the personal collection of John Mottishaw.
