OMAS A.M. 87 Briarwood Limited Edition
In Stock
The OMAS A.M. 87 Briarwood Limited Edition fountain pen was first released in 1987 as a limited edition. The pen was designed by Gianluca Malaguti, the grandson in law of OMAS founder Armando Simoni. The innovative streamlined design of this pen has certainly held up through time.
Description
The OMAS A.M. 87 Briarwood Limited Edition was challenging to produce because it required thick pieces of briarwood and complicated vegetable resin finishing to prevent ink damage. As a result, the numbers are very limited.
The pen at hand shows no issues whatsoever and is in Near-Mint+ condition. It comes complete with an outer box showing
the number “051” hand printed and the words, “BOSSO BIANCO WOOD,” identifying the material.
The inner maplewood box contains the original paperwork and polishing cloth. The 18K two-tone Broad nib is suitable for our Stub, Italics and Oblique customizations. This is a very collectible pen from the Mottishaw collection.
