Gold Bond Coral
Out of stock
This Gold Bond Coral flat-top full-size fountain pen is in excellent condition. The Coral celluloid is remarkable for its bright color, unstained by just under 100 years of existence. We date the pen at ca. 1927.
Description
Gold Bond, a Chicago company, named their celluloid material Stonite for its hardness and endurance. The 14K nib on this Gold Bond Coral is medium fine and very flexible and can be modified for further flexibility to make it an exceedingly expressive, if challenging, pen to write with.
The pen measures 5 3/8” capped and is lever filled. The great nib and Coral color makes this pen a collectible and functional writing instrument. It is from the Mottishaw collection. $250.
