Diamond Medal #8
In Stock
This Diamond Medal #8 pen is in Excellent + condition, exhibiting a color clarity rarely seen in celluloid pens from the late 1920’s, the hey-day of large flat-top fountain pens. We do not recommend any customizations on this nib in order to preserve the original tipping in its original shape.
Description
Because of the magnificent color, we have not installed a rubber ink bladder in this Diamond Medal #8 to avoid possible discoloration of the black and pearl celluloid. However, we can add a bladder at no additional charge at time of purchase if you request.
This is the flagship model with the largest fine firm nib available, the 14K #8 in mint condition. Measuring 5 1/2” long, capped, this Chicago-made collectible pen represents the apex of the brand. It is from the Mottishaw collection.
