Out of stock
Description
Conklin Pen Company was started in Toledo, Ohio by Roy Conklin in 1898 and because of their excellent quality and unique patented filling system, was one of the “big four” until the mid 1920’s.
This Conklin Crescent Filler #50 predates the Endura which puts it manufacture around 1920. Measuring 5 5/8” long capped and is made of black chased hard rubber (BCHR) in a lined and chevron pattern. This pen shows clear imprints of the patent dates and model on the barrel.
The original semi-flexible extra-fine nib is also in Near Mint condition. It is a great example of this full size collectible pen. This Conklin Crescent Filler #50 is from the Mottishaw collection.
