This Piston filler Ancora Unica Limited Edition fountain pen features nine mother of pearl facets set in ornate barrel bands. It is number 828 of an edition of 1919. We are offering exceptional pricing on this pen, often found on the market at double our current sale price.
Description
This Ancora Unica Limited Edition sports a Broad 18K nib supported by a hard rubber feed. The barrel and cap are also hard rubber giving it the soft feel of that material.
The Ancora pen company first founded in 1919 was known for beautiful early Italian pen design. The early models are highly sought after by collectors. The company and anchor brand was resurrected in the 1990’s, and has been producing remarkable and clearly Italian designs including this one with mother-of-pearl barrel inserts.
This Ancora Unica Limited Edition fountain pen is in Near Mint condition, but does not come with box or papers. It is from the John Mottishaw collection.
