JoWo 14k Gold Nib Units are complete assemblies with feed and housing. We provide our free nib tuning with your purchase. These 14k nibs make excellent starting points for our noted nib customizations – choose finer nibs for our Flex modifications, and broader nibs for regrind customizations such as Architects Point, Cursive Italic, and Stub.
Description
German manufacturer JoWo produces the nibs used by many of Europe’s best-known fountain pen brands. JoWo 14k #6 Gold Nib Units can often be used as replacement nibs for many pen models, and are also used by pen crafters and assemblers of kit pens.
If you would like to have our nib specialists set and tune a new JoWo nib in your existing pen, we can provide this service for an additional charge of $50. Just indicate this in the notes while placing your nib order, and we will contact you with instructions on sending your existing pen to us.
Please note that due to differences in feeds, housing, and nib shanks, #6 nibs of any kind are not always fully interchangeable. Please make sure that these JoWo 14k #6 Gold Nib Units are compatible with your existing pen before placing your order.
The broader JoWo nib sizes provide a terrific basis for our regrind customizations such as Stub, Cursive Italic, and Left Oblique. As 14k nibs, they can also be provided with our modification for added Flex.
