The Loiminchay Zitlan Limited Edition fountain pen was produced in 2002, one of several produced yearly. Zitlan is the name of the extremely precious wood with deep warm tones. This wood was previously reserved for monarchy. Loiminchay turned and lacquered it to form the barrel of this Loiminchay Zitlan fountain pen.
Description
Measuring 6 1/2” capped this Loiminchay Zitlan Limited Edition fountain pen is large by any standard. The sterling silver clip sits on an orange hard rubber cap. Filler button and gripping section are also orange hard rubber.
Sporting an 18K 10 size two tone nib, with the Lominchay logo imprinted in gold under rhodium plating, this nib is immaculate.
The Loiminchay Zitlan comes in a sturdy outer box and a chrysanthemum motif fabric covered inner box. Inked once here to test this smooth writing medium nib, this Zitlan pen, and boxes and documentation all are in mint condition. This pen limited edition number 15/50 pen is from the Mottishaw collection.
