The Starboard Lights was designed in consultation with the Sailor Pen Guild, Sailor’s own in-house organization of pen enthusiasts. Purchasing the Starboard Lights entitles you to a free one year membership in the Sailor Pen Guild, a $20 value.
Sailor is renowned for the quality of their nibs and the variety of tipping sizes available. Finer nibs from Extra Fine through Medium are highly suitable for everyday note-taking. Broader nibs, on the other hand, make excellent starting points for customizations such as Stub or Cursive Italic. Choose the unique Zoom nib for best results with our Architects Point customization.
Our complimentary nib tuning tests each pen and adjusts the ink flow and optimum pressure to your own personal specifications. We are an authorized Sailor retailer.
The Starboard Lights Limited Edition is a cartridge-converter pen. It is supplied with a reusable ink converter that allows it to fill utilizing bottled fountain pen ink. It can also use handy Sailor ink cartridges, now available in a wide array of different colors. A starter packet of two complimentary cartridges is provided with the pen.
