The Pilot Custom 823 Amber is a piston-fill fountain pen made available with a wide variety of 14k solid gold nibs. Slightly bigger than the popular Custom Heritage 912 and in gold rather than rhodium trim, it is a perfect fit for users who prefer its vacuum piston-fill system to the cartridge-converter system utilized by the similarly-sized Custom 743 series.
Complimentary nib tuning with your purchase from us ensures that your Pilot Custom 823 is optimized to the specifications you provide. Our optional nib customizations can add uniqueness and calligraphic styling to the writing you produce on the page.
Choose broader nibs for regrind customizations such as Architects Point, Cursive Italic, and Stub. Finer nibs, on the other hand, are most suitable for added Flex.
