We provide your choice of Pelikan 18k solid gold nib, including the special Extra Broad and Italic Broad sizes. Each pen receives our free nib tuning, and Pelikan nibs make an excellent starting point for many of our most popular nib customizations.
Description
The Pelikan Souverän M805 has the classic Souverän style given a contemporary gleam. A superb fountain pen for everyday use, it is full-sized, but designed with a keen eye for ergonomic ease – this is a pen that will be a pleasure to write with for most users.
Pelikan revolutionized the fountain pen world with the introduction of its differential piston-fill system in the late 1920’s. Nearly a hundred years later, subtle refinements in engineering and material make this system even more reliable and impressive. With its generous ink capacity and convenient ink window, the M805 Black makes the most of this system.
Pelikan 18k solid gold nib units are extremely well-suited to our noted nib customizations. We recommend the Extra Broad or Italic Broad nibs for the most dramatic results with customizations such as Stub, Cursive Italic, and Architects Point. And if the Pelikan Extra Fine is not fine enough for you, a regrind to Needlepoint is also available from us.
