Parker Vacumatic Maxima
Out of stock
This is the Parker Vacumatic Maxima, the flagship fountain pen in the Parker lineup in 1945. Produced in the second quarter of that year, the Parker Maxima was arguably the best pen one could buy during that time period.
Description
This Parker Vacumatic Maxima is in excellent condition and fully restored with the correct size diaphragm and little required but a thorough cleaning inside and out.
Note the see-through striped celluloid barrel making how much ink is left easy to judge. The crisp imprint also speaks to the condition of this pen and makes clear the date of the barrel production.
It comes with a fine smooth full-size nib which makes writing page after page without interruption possible. This is the more desirable wide cap band and double end jewel model and has the metal push button filler button under the barrel end cap. It is from the Mottishaw collection.
