Description
Produced in the second quarter of 1945, this Parker Maxima was arguably the best pen one could buy during that time period. This Parker Vacumatic Maxima is in excellent condition and fully restored with the correct size diaphragm and little required but a thorough cleaning inside and out.
Note the see-through striped celluloid barrel making how much ink is left easy to judge. The crisp imprint also speaks to the condition of this pen and makes clear the date of the barrel production.
This is the more desirable wide cap band and double end jewel model and has the metal push button filler button under the barrel end cap. It is from the Mottishaw collection.
