Marlen Aztlan Limited Edition
In Stock
This rare and much sought-after Marlen Aztlan Limited Edition fountain pen features an Italian celluloid cap and barrel and is trimmed in sterling silver. It is in near-mint condition, with outer and inner presentation boxes and full documentation.
Your purchase includes our free nib tuning services, but collectors not wishing to have the pen re-inked can also choose to waive this service during checkout. The 18k Medium nib would also make an excellent starting point for customization such as Architects Point, Cursive Italic, and Stub.
Description
This Marlen Aztlan Limited Edition is engraved with the date of manufacture, 1998, on the front band, and with the limited edition number, 115/375 AG, on the barrel.
The middle band has a port through which one can see how much ink is left in the barrel. Ink is drawn up by a firm twist button and gasket filler under a blind cap on the barrel end.
As the motif clearly indicates, this pen is dedicated to the Aztec civilization. It has an inlaid gold over silver Aztec mask on the pocket clip.
It sports a large, pristine, 18k Medium nib over a hard rubber feed. The black and pearlescent celluloid barrel and cap refract light beautifully.
This pen, both highly collectible and highly usable for everyday writing, is from the personal collection of PacificPenWorks nib specialist John Mottishaw.
