JoWo supplies the nibs for many of Europe’s top fountain pen makers. These JoWo 14k #6 Rhodium Nib units are widely used by custom pen builders and are often compatible as replacements in a variety of fountain pen models.
For those interested in replacing the nib on a current pen, we offer nib setting and tuning services for an additional fee of $50. Simply include a note with your nib purchase indicating your request, and we’ll follow up with instructions for sending us your pen.
Keep in mind that #6 nib compatibility isn’t universal—differences in feed design, housing, and nib dimensions mean these units won’t fit every pen. We strongly recommend confirming that these nib units will fit your existing pen before ordering.
Larger nib sizes from JoWo’s 14k lineup are excellent candidates for our specialty regrinds, including Stub, Cursive Italic, and Left Oblique styles. These gold nibs also take well to our Flex modifications when starting with a finer tip.
Whether or not you opt for customization, each nib purchase includes complimentary tuning to optimize performance for your own individual writing style.
