Description
This Hoesch Burgundy Mini Lever-Filler fountain pen is fully restored with a new bladder. The pristine nib sits atop a very unusual hard rubber feed that has holes to capture excess ink instead of the usual fins employed during this time period. Its cap is very long in relation to the barrel length.
At only 3.7 inches long closed, this pen becomes full-length when the cap is posted on the back of the barrel and then is quite comfortable in the hand.
The barrel and cap are made from a burgundy hard rubber-like material with a great sense of feel. Little is known about the Hoesch company. This unusual mini fountain pen is from the personal collection of PacificPenWorks nib specialist John Mottishaw.
