Eboya is the artisanal offshoot of Nikko Ebonite, a longtime supplier of premium hard rubber to Japan’s major pen manufacturers. The ebonite used in these pens is derived from the sap of the Asian rubber tree and has a legacy of durability—evident in vintage pens over a century old that still write today. Eboya’s dedication to shaping and finishing this material results in unique finishes that elevate both the appearance and feel of each pen.
Each Eboya fountain pen is fitted with a 14k solid gold nib made by Bock, the noted German nib manufacturer which supplies many of the best-known European pen manufacturers. These nibs are ideal starting points for our free nib tuning services and optional custom grinds.
Choose the Medium nib for a Cursive Italic or Stub grind. The Fine and Medium Fine, meanwhile, are highly suitable to our modifications for added Flex. And if the Fine nib is not fine enough for you, our regrinds to Extra Fine and Needlepoint are also available.
This fountain pen features a cartridge-converter filling system and is compatible with standard international cartridges (both short and long) as well as standard converters, offering flexibility for a range of ink choices. A standard international converter manufactured by Pelikan is included by us with your purchase of any Eboya fountain pen.
