This Parker Duofold Senior aka The Big Red dates from the mid 1920’s and is in excellent condition. Fully refurbished with a full-size fresh bladder, it only needed a thorough cleaning inside and out to take it to near original condition. This is the celluloid model which Parker called Permanite, a material made exclusively for them.
Description
The imprint on this Parker Duofold Senior is sharp and clear indicating little all around wear. It is professionally engraved with the name Ralph Engel on the barrel opposite the Parker imprint.
At 5 1/2” long with the cap on and with the full girth of the senior model, this is truly a full size pen suitable for even the largest of hands. This pen was made at a time of rapid ascendency for the Parker company largely on account of the Duofold pen models. This pen is from the Mottishaw collection.
