Lamy Z50 Steel Nibs are provided in a variety of tipping sizes, ranging from standard Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad, to stock Stub nibs in 1.1, 1.5, 1.9 mm sizes.
Also of interest are the “A” nib, a very rounded Medium nib meant to facilitate writing at a variety of different angles; and the “LH” nib, a very rounded stock oblique.
The thought and care that Lamy puts into the design and potential use cases of these inexpensive steel nibs is very impressive, and indicative of Lamy’s over-all dedication to excellence in design and engineering, tendencies which are seen even more strongly in their 14k nibs and higher-end writing instruments.
