This Wahl Eversharp Personal Point Bronze and Gold sports the double check gold seal above the clip and the rhomboid cap band. It is the full size long pen and comes with the original Fine flexible nib.
This fountain pen can be provided with our free nib tuning services, but we can also waive this service for collectors who do not wish to have the pen re-inked. We do not recommend any nib customizations on this special vintage 14k nib.
Description
This Wahl Eversharp Personal Point Bronze and Gold was manufactured in Chicago in the early thirties during the golden age of celluloid fountain pens. Except for a very small and stable crack out of the nib vent hole, this pen is in excellent condition and retains its original color.
Debuting in 1929, the innovative “Personal Point” design enabled shop owners to swap out nib units with ease, allowing for a greater variety of tipping sizes to be offered to their customers.
This Wahl Eversharp is fully restored with a fresh bladder. As with any vintage pen, we strongly recommend the use of conventional dye-based fountain pen inks, such as those we offer from manufacturers such as Pelikan, Pilot, Platinum, and Sailor.
