Parker #16 Gold-Filled Metal Filagree
In stock
This Parker #16 Gold-Filled Metal Filagree circa 1918 is in very good condition. It has the correct Parker Lucky Curve #2 nib in excellent condition and is a fine semi-flexible model, typical of this pre-Duofold period. We do not recommend customizing this special vintage nib, but the pen will receive our usual free nib tuning services.
Description
Measuring just over 4 1/2” capped, this pen turns into a handful when the cap is posted on the back of the barrel. This is an early button filler pen, a filling system that went on for two more decades. The button filler seals the bladder in the hard rubber barrel, with the blind cap preventing ink from getting out at any place but the nib. The filagree on the barrel is stamped: PAT. 6-30-91. 1-3-05. This Parker #16 Gold-Filled Metal Filagree is from the personal collection of John Mottishaw.
