Marlen TEN Limited Edition

Description

This Marlen TEN Limited Edition fountain pen is quite large. At 6 1/8″ with the cap on and weighing over 44 grams, it is truly a handful. Some users find that a large heavy pen stabilizes one’s handwriting.

The Marlen TEN is trimmed with sterling silver clip and six sterling barrel and cap bands. The roller ball on the clip is set with four rubies.

The cap and the barrel are made out of black and pearlescent silver celluloid, which has no scent making us think it is some sort of resin. The large, appropriately sized, 18K medium two-tone nib sits atop a hard rubber feed.

This is a button filler fountain pen, which has a fresh bladder that can be filled with one push on the button underneath the blind cap at the end of the barrel.

The presentation box contains a sterling silver plaque which states that this limited edition pen is dedicated to pen collectors. There are some small scratches on the plaque which probably came from indentations from the rubies.

This highly collectible pen comes complete with all the original papers and packaging, including both the outer box and leatherette presentation box.
