This Ancora Fuoco Red Demonstrator Limited Edition fountain pen is in excellent condition and is number 177/200. The trim consists of vermeil gold over 925 sterling silver, and the unique plunger filling system offers a generous ink capacity. Beautiful as it is, this is a pen that can be a durable and highly reliable everyday writer.

Description
“Fuoco” is Italian for fire, and this Ancora Fuoco Red Demonstrator Limited Edition is a suitably gleaming combination of semi-transparent red resin accentuated by rich gold vermeil trim.
The pen comes in its original presentation box. The inside is near pristine, but the rubberized texture of the outer box has seen significant peeling.
Dated 1/11/99, the original limited edition certificate is signed G for Giovanni, the owner and manufacturer of the company. The Ancora brand was one of the earliest in Italy, and the company had resumed operations shortly before this pen was produced.
This is a large pen at 5 3/4″ capped and weighs 43 grams. The 18k nib was crafted in house at the Ancora factory.
