If you’re someone concerned about environmental sustainability, using fountain pens is already a natural choice. Choosing a re-fillable fountain pen that can last for generations is already a strong step to help reduce waste and lessen environmental impacts.

At PacificPenWorks, we extend this mindfulness about environmental stewardship to the operations of our business. All the packing materials we order, for instance, are either recyclable, biodegradable, or both. We also request that the distributors and manufacturers we deal with use such materials whenever possible.

When we do receive non-recyclable packing materials in shipments sent to us, we will sometimes reuse the materials to keep them out of landfills for as long as possible. If you would prefer your order be sent to you with only recyclable and/or biodegradable materials, please let us know and we will be happy to comply with your request.

We extend these same concerns into other aspects of our daily operations. Our main administrative office is ninety percent powered by solar energy. We consolidate and carefully plan vehicle usage in order to reduce total miles driven, and our main company car is a high MPG hybrid. 

At PacificPenWorks, we consider environmental sustainability just one part of our over-all commitment to being responsible members of the fountain pen community, as well as providing the best possible experience to our customers.
