This Dawson Warren & Hydes gold dip pen nib is “Tip Top No 6”. It is extremely scarce, being the only one we ever have seen. In excellent condition it has a needlepoint tip and is flexible in a way only nibs from this period can be. (The craft of making these kind of nibs has been lost.) It measures 44.7mm long and 9.5 mm at the shoulders and weighs 1.06 grams of gold alloy
