Description
This Sheaffer Oversize Balance Marine Green Celluloid is without chips or cracks and the surface shows only superficial scuffing. The cap band has two very small dents, and there is a stable hairline crack in the base of the nib, as well as a scratch on the left tine, none of which affects the writing quality of the Fine nib.
This nib is serial numbered 4019243, just one indication of how seriously Sheaffer took their nib making. Of wide girth and measuring 5.5 inches long and weighing 21 grams, this was the flagship Balance model.
